I'm just a normal person, we all have dreams and desires. I just believe that if you continue to seek those things then ultimately it will come to you.
I am 3/4 cherokee indian and I enjoy going
to a pow-wow and taking pictures then getting permission to draw the characters
that I photograph. I have created clothing with my designs, and made costume
jewelry as well. I sculpt roses, petal by petal... that last a lifetime.

I
am married, and we've raised 3 wonderful children. They are married as
well, and with that we have 10 grandchildren. I live in Texas and love
it. I have inspiration all around me. I have been drawing since I was
in elementary. In the 6th grade, I entered a logo contest and won. My
drawing was displayed for the anyone who entered the school to see. I
spent most of my working life doing other things but have come to realize
this is my dream...I've known it all my life. I am self-taught. I love
to use different mediums and always try different styles. I have recently
been working with pastels and enjoy it. I love creating
pastels,
watercolor, pen & ink, and mixed media. I can sculpt, design, etc.
I strive for a perfect creation in every piece. I have sold my works of
art by word of mouth, advertisement, auctions and exhibits. I wish to
continue selling my art and getting my name out there! My goals are to
reach for the stars. Attaining small goals daily then work towards my
ultimate goal. To be a artist means to show someone a piece of your soul,
spirit...and divine energy. We are put here to serve a purpose and this
is mine. I realized that my passion was not being fulfilled. My art is
to be cherished, savored, and appreciated. I now have put all other work
aside and put 100% of my efforts towards my passion.
